Proceed to Golden Temple which is one of the major religious centers of the Sikh community symbolizing unity, peace, and equality. Located in the middle of a serene sarovar, the four entrances of the Gurdwara signify that people of all casts, creeds, cultures, and nationalities are welcome into the gurdwara. The gold clad dome and intricately carved interiors of the gurdwara reflect the grandeur of the Indian architecture. The temple complex is nominated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site and runs one of the biggest kitchens in the world. It is suggested to dress modestly while visiting the gurdwara. After Golden Temple proceed to Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial of national importance, is dedicated to all the martyrs who died in the unfortunate Amritsar massacre (also known as Jallianwala Bagh massacre). The bullet marks on the walls of the garden which witnessed the suicide of many women and children rest well protected in the memorial. Also, the well inside which many people jumped to save themselves from the firing is well-preserved. The garden also hosts a light and sound show every evening narrating the dreadful incident using the voice of the famous actor Amitabh Bachchan
