DELHI – KATRA – PATNITOP – JAMMU - DELHI
Day 01 Delhi/Jammu/Katra
Drive to Katra via Jammu. Distance of about 635 kms will be
covered in about 14 hrs. On arrival check – in at hotel for
dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02 In Katra
After early breakfast trek to Vaishnodevi shrine for darshan.
The shrine is approachable on foot or by ponies a 12 kms long
well laid footpath. Late afternoon return to Katra for dinner
and overnight stay
Day 03 Katra/Patnitop
After breakfast leave for Patnitop. A distance of about 70 kms
will be covered in about 2-½ hrs. Arrive Patnitop by
lunchtime. Afternoon free
Dinner overnight hotel.
Day 04 In Patnitop
Full day sightseeing of Sanasar (17 kms). Sanasar is a cup shaped
meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers. The meadow has now been
developed as a golf course. It also provides opportunities for
Paragliding.
Dinner overnight hotel.
Day 05 In Patnitop
Day free for individual activities.
Dinner overnight hotel
Day 06 Patnitop/Jammu
Morning drive back to Jammu. The total distance of 110 kms will
be covered in about 3-½ hrs. On arrival, transfer to
hotel. After lunch sightseeing of Jammu City visiting Ranbireshwar
temple, Raghunath temple, Ranbhir canal garden etc.
Dinner overnight hotel.
Day 07
Jammu/Delhi
After very early breakfast drive to Delhi. Distance of about
595 kms will be covered in about 12 hrs. On arrival check-in
at hotel or transfer to airport/railway station to board flight/train
for onward destination.
