Day 01: ARRIVE KALIMPONG
Arrive & transfer from Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri station to Kalimpong. (Duration: 4 hrs)
This is one of the most beautiful hill resorts in the Darjeeling District. With an altitude of 1250 mts, Kalimpong is situated on the right bank of river Teesta. Rest of the day at leisure

Day 03: KALIMPONG-GANGTOK
Breakfast. Travel from Kalimpong to Gangtok by car (Duration: 4 hrs)
Gangtok is the getaway to Sikkim, the last Shangri-La. The gently swaying & elegant costumes of the Sikkimese people, their smiling faces, & unhurried pace of their life-style & the towering beauty of Kanchenjunga… all cast a magic spell on this delightful location on the foothills of the grand Himalayas. An air of enchantment hangs over this city, indeed the whole valley; the mysticism, the stupas, the monasteries reach out as soon as one has approached. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 04: GANGTOK
Breakfast. Sightseeing: Gangtok City tour
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 05: GANGTOK- DARJEELING
Breakfast, Travel from Gangtok to Darjeeling (Duration: 3 hrs).
Arrive Darjeeling & check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 06: DARJEELING
Breakfast, Sightseeing: Tiger Hill & Darjeeling City Tour

Day 07: DARJEELING-ONWARD DESTINATION
Breakfast, Travel from Darjeeling to Bagdogra airport/New Jalpaiguri Station (Duration: 3 hrs)

Sight Seeing Description:
· Kalimpong City Tour (SNS / SS /IN / KAN / 414):
In the morning, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour. Visit the different Gompas, which are Tibetan-Buddhist monastaries. Tharpa Choling Gompa belongs to the Yellow Hat Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, founded in Tibet in the 14th century. Thongsa Gompa, of the Bhutanese Monastery is the oldest in the area. Visit the flower nurseries - Kalimpong produces 80% of India’s gladioli & is an important orchid growing area. Flowers are exported from here to many cities in Northern India.

· Gangtok City tour (SNS / SS /IN / GUL / 415):
In the morning visit the Rumtek Monastery, which is the largest monastery of its kind in Sikkim & the main seat of the Karma Kagyu lineage, followed by a visit to the Research Institute of Tibetology-an organization to advance the Tibetan language & its literature on the Enlightened One. The only one of its kind in the world on Mahayana Buddhism, the Garden Sanctuary & Buddhist Monastery. Also see the Deer Park & drive through the colorful bazaar. One can buy many attractive items like carved furniture, dresses; Lepcha weave bags, carpets & durries with intricate designs & colorful decorations. One can also but wooden & carved artifacts.

· Darjeeling Tiger Hill (SNS / SS /IN / DUX / 416):
In the early morning drive to Tiger hill (accessible by Jeep only). From here the great Mount Everest is visible on clear days. Return to your hotel via the Ghoom Monastery, which has a 15-foot high statue of Maitreya Buddha & is the most famous monastery in town.

· Darjeeling City Tour (SNS / SS /IN / DUX / 417):
Half-day tour of Darjeeling covers Lebong village, which has the highest racecourse in the world, the Mountaineering Institute, House of Tensing Norgay & the Botanical Gardens. In the evening visit the Tea Garden.
