Day 01 Arrive Cairo
Dinner
Cruise on Nile with Belly Dance Show
Arrive Cairo International Airport. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred
to your hotel.
Rest of the day is at leisure.
In the evening enjoy cursing on the Nile River with a Belly Dance Show
and Dinner.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 Cairo - Luxur Luxor
Temple - Complex of Karnak, Belly Dancing
After breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight to Luxor to board
your luxurious Cruise liner for a 5 day cruise to Aswan.
Lunch on board. After lunch visit the Luxor Temple and the epic 250 acre
Complex of Karnak. Built over 1300 years and described as "an departmental
store with something for everyone, Karnak ranks with the Great Pyramids
as one of the loftiest architectural achievements of Ancient Egypt. The
Great Hypostyle Hall 134 immense column covering an area of 17000 sq.
Mts. is the largest columnar structure in the world.
This evening enjoy the famous Arabian belly dance show on board.
Dinner & overnight on board.
DAY 03 Luxor - Esna Valley
of Kings - Valley of Queens
After breakfast visit the West Bank to see the ancient capital of Thebes.
Visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of Queens.
Lunch on board. After lunch sail to Esna.
In the evening enjoy the captain's welcome cocktail party on board. Overnight
on board.
DAY 04 Esna - Edfu Temple
of Khnoum - Temple of Horus - Galabia Party
After breakfast the first port of call is ESNA. Visit the half-buried
Temple of Khnoum - the ram headed deity whose legend has moulded man on
a potter's wheel. See the temple's astronomical ceiling with its mythical
creatures of the zodiac.
Lunch on board. After lunch sail to Edfu, which is home to another of
the Nile's astounding sights. Visit the Temple of Hours- the finest example
of all cult temples in Egypt.
Sail to Komombo. In the evening enjoy the "Galabia Party". Dinner
and overnight on board.
DAY 05 Komombo - Aswan Temple
of Haroeris & Sobek - Elephantine Island - Agha
Khan Mausoleum.
After breakfast we come to Komombo. Visit the temple of Haroeris and Sobek.
In the afternoon sail towards Egypt's southernmost city Aswan.
Lunch on board. En route visit Elephantine Island - One of the strongest
forts along Egypt's southern boarders, The Agha Khan Mausoleum. Built
in memory of the late leader of the Ismailli sect it is an exquisite example
of Fatimid architecture.
In the evening enjoy Nubian Show on board. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 06 Aswan - Cairo High
Dam - Old Dam - Philae Temple - Granite Quarries
Unfinished Obelisk. Abu Simbel (Opt.)
After breakfast Disembark at Aswan. Visit the High Dam, Old Dam, Philae
Temple, Granite Quarries and the enormous Unfinished Obelisk- a huge unfinished
obelisk measuring 41 meters in length and 4 meters square at the base.
In the evening transfer to airport to connect flight to Cairo.
You also have a once in a lifetime opportunity to take an excursion to
the mighty Sun Temple of Abu Simbel, flanked by four giant stone statues
of Ramses II. The temple was reclaimed from a dam and reconstructed in
its present and unforgettable location.
Upon arrival in Cairo you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 Cairo Pyramids
of Giza - Sakkara - Memphis - Sphinx
After breakfast we take you for a full day excursion to see the pyramids.
First travel to Memphis to see the limestone Colossus of Ramses II and
the giant Alabaster Sphinx. Continue to Sakkara where the step pyramid
heralded the start of pyramid era. Then we proceed to Giza to see one
of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza
and Sphinx, which casts its enigmatic gaze across the timeless sands of
the desert.
You also have an option to see the Sound & Light Show at an Optional
Price
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 Cairo - Depart Mosques
- Egyptian Museum
After breakfast full day sightseeing of Cairo including the Citadel dominating
Cairo's skyline.
Visit the Sultan Hassan Mosque and Mohammed Ali's Alabaster Mosque with
its highly decorated and ornate interior.
In the old Cairo visit the Hanging Church of St. Mary above the old Water
Gate.
Also visit the Egyptian Museum, home of King Tutankhuman's priceless treasures,
discovered by Howard Carter in the Valley of Kings in 1922.
In the evening transfer to airport to connect flight home.
NOTE: Depending upon
the airline and Date of travel:
1. The cruise might start from Aswan to Luxur.
2. We might have to replace the 4 night cruise with a 3 night Cruise.
The difference in price will be adjusted accordingly.
3. Sightseeing may vary depending on the Cruise Liner.
