Moon land Tour


Day 01.Delhi/Leh
Flight between Delhi- Leh On arrival transfers to hotel. Afternoon free for acclimatize. Overnight hotel.


Day 02 Alchi/Likir/ Lamayuru monasteries/Hall of fame.
Early morning leave hotel by Jeep to moon land view at Lamayouru about 120km from Leh. On the way you will visit Alchi monastery, In Splendid Isolation Leh-Srinagar highway, you'd never guess that the cluster of low pagoda roofed cubes 3-km across the Indus from Saspol, dwarfed by a spectacular sweep of pale brown and wine coloured Scree, is one of the most significant historical sites in Asia. Yet the Chos-khor, or "religious enclave", at Alchi, 70-km west of Leh, harbors an extraordinary wealth of ancient wall paintings and wood sculpture, miraculously preserved for over nine centuries inside five tiny mud walled temples.
A Priceless Himalayan Heritage
Art historians rave about the site because its earliest murals are the finest surviving examples of a style that flourished in Kashmir during the "Second Spreading". Barely a handful of the monasteries founded during this era escaped the Muslim depredations of the fourteenth century. Of them all, Alchi is the most impressive, the least remote and the only place where monastery is built on the flat . Nestled beside a bend in the milky blue river Indus, amid some dramatic scenery, it's also a serene spot and the perfect place to break a long journey to or from the Ladakhi capital. After visiting drive to Lamayuru monastery and have view of moon land. Please have enough films. After visiting monastery drive back to Leh. Overnight hotel.


Day 03. Leh/Pangong /Leh lake.
Early morning live your hotel upstream along the right bank of River Indus via Shay, Thiksay monasteries by crossing Changla pass 17350 ft. Pangong means hollow is very long narrow spread of water situated at an altitude of 14500ft. extending from east to west through the whole length of the Rothog of Tibet, it bends to the north west for about 25 miles and from aboundary between Ladakh and Rothog. Only a quarter of the lake lies in India. The rest stretching into Ruthog, its eastern extremely is unknown. Rate black necked cranes and other migratory birds are seen here. The water of the lake is salty. Retrace the route to Leh. Overnight hotel.


Day 04. Nubra valley.
Early in the morning drive to Nubra valley 5 hrs drive. The Nubra valley is lies in the north of Leh and is accessible over the Khardongla (18300ft) the highest motorable road in the world. The valley was trade route from Leh to Khashgar via Saser and Karakoram Passes. Drive through starkly beautiful country side. You will have beautiful send dune along the Shayok river. Drive up to Hundar village where you will stay in Camp of family run resort for overnight.


Day 05. Leh. Via Diskit ( the head quarter of Nubra valley)
Early morning drive to Diskit monastery to widness morning prayers and visit monastery and its paintings. Retrace to Leh. Overnight hotel.


Day 06. Departure.
Drive to airport to catch flight.
