Day
01 Jammu/Katra
Arrive Jammu and transfer to Katra. A distance of about 50 kms
will be covered in about 2 hrs. On arrival in Katra, transfer
to hotel. After check-in, trek to Vaishnodevi shrine for darshan.
The shrine is approachable by foot or by ponies, a 12 kms long
well laid footpath. Late evening return to Katra for dinner
and overnight stay.

02 Katra/Patnitop
After breakfast leave for Patnitop. A distance of about 70 kms
will be covered in about 2- ½ hrs. Arrive Patnitop by
lunchtime. Afternoon free

03 In Patnitop
Full day sightseeing of Sanasar (17 kms). Sanasar is a cup shaped
meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers. The meadow has now been
developed as a golf course. It also provides opportunities for
Paragliding.

04 Patnitop/Dalhousie
After breakfast drive to Dalhousie via Jammu and Pathankot.
A distance of about 300 kms will be covered in about 9 hrs.
On arrival in Dalhousie, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight
stay.

05 Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Dalhousie
Sightseeing of Dalhousie. It is named after the British Governor
general of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie. Dalhousie is built
of 5 hills Kathalog, Potreyn, Tehara, Bakrota and Balun. It
is surrounded by varied vegetation – pines, deodars, oaks
and flowering rhododendron. It has charming colonial architecture
including some beautiful churches. One can also have spectacular
view of snow covered Dhauladhar mountains. Also visit Khajjiar
(1960 Mts.), also known as Mini Switzerland. It is 26 kms each
way from Dalhousie. Visit 12th century temple dedicated to Khajjinag.
Within the temple are life size wooden images of the five-pandav
brothers.

06 Dalhousie – Dharamsala
Drive to Dharamsala (1380 Mts to 1830 Mts). Distance of about
130 kms via Banikhet, Tunuhatti, Lahru, Shahpur and Chambi will
be covered in about 3-½ hrs. On arrival in Dharamsala,
transfer to hotel.
Dinner overnight hotel.

07 In Dharamsala
Visit Art Culture institution, Tibetan Village, Namgarh Gompa
etc.
Lunch Dinner overnight stay in hotel.
Day 08 Dharamsala/Manali (2050
Mts.)
Drive to Manali. Distance of about 260 kms will be covered in
about 6 hrs. On arrival in Manali, transfer to hotel.
Dinner overnight hotel.
Day
09 In Manali
Full day excursion to Rohtang Pass (13000 ft.). A distance of
about 100 kms will be covered in about 4 hrs. Explore the pass
and enjoy the fascinating view and playing on snow. Return to
Manali for dinner and overnight stay.
Day
10 Manali/Shimla
After breakfast drive to Shimla. A distance of about 235 kms
will be covered in about 8 hrs.
Dinner overnight hotel.
Day
11 In Shimla
Full day sightseeing of Shimla visiting The Glenn, Annandale,
Prospect Hill and Kamna Devi, Sankat Mochan etc.
Dinner overnight hotel.
Day
12 Shimla/Kalka Railway Station or Chandigarh
Transfer to Kalka Railway Station for onward destination or
drive to Chandigarh.
